TYRE ADMINISTRATOR - Bloemfontein

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for tyre administration, such as tyre breakdowns, mounting and dismounting of tyres (on sage), tyre order control, conducting of claims within the department, stock control and ensuring effective communication with internal departments and external clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OR TASKS.
- Responsible for processing tyre breakdown invoices, by retrieving breakdown information form the relevant fleet controller.
- Responsible for the dismount and mounting of tyres on sage, by identifying tyre replacements (less than 4 mm thread), obtain serial & burn number (contracting relevant drivers if required), ensure correct tyre orientation as well as the correct wheel alignment.
- Responsible for order control, through the accurate removal of tyres, the record keeping and capturing of information in the D-book, loading of tyre orders in trucks and securing the loads in containers.
- Responsible for tyre claims, through the identification & sorting possible tyre manufacturing claims, the capturing of information on the claim/scrap report sheet and providing effective assistance to suppliers with tyre claims and rejections.
- The effective & accurate regulating of scraping data and stock control.
- Processing of all tyre related invoices & credit notes and doing monthly reconciliations of the relevant accounts.

The POD Clerk is responsible for processing and collecting all administrative duties related to proof of delivery documentation, driver trip sheets, and associated post documentation. This role involves liaising with clients and drivers to retrieve relevant documentation and resolve any queries efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retrieve and filter incoming post documentation and sort accordingly.
- Obtain order requests from clients and operations, ensuring all load documents are attached, signed, and stamped by the relevant personnel, and that GRV and AOD numbers are included.
- Maintain active communication with drivers to obtain trip sheets, PODs, and delivery notes.
- Ensure all outstanding PODs are retrieved from drivers for your assigned client list.
- Scan and securely store all completed invoices on the company’s servers.

The Senior Fleet Scheduler is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily scheduling of transport for cargo, ensuring the effective allocation of vehicles and drivers to meet client demands. This role requires supervising and coordinating drivers, scheduling truck departures and arrivals, managing client communications, and addressing operational challenges such as breakdowns and delays. The Senior Fleet Scheduler will also oversee the night shift team, manage truck allocations, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fleet Scheduling and Management:
· Supervise, manage, and schedule all aspects of fleet transportation, ensuring efficient allocation of vehicles to meet client and operational requirements.
· Plan daily truck schedules and re-allocate resources as necessary to accommodate changes in load requirements or breakdowns.
· Monitor the daily progress of truck loads and ensure all trucks are on track to meet delivery times.

JOB PURPOSE:
The main purpose of the job is to carry out servicing and complex repairs to heavy commercial vehicle equipment which includes trucks, trailers and tankers and auxiliary equipment. This may include but is not limited to drivetrain components, suspensions, intermediate to advanced electrical and air braking systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Carry out a defect inspection and report on a truck, trailer, semi-trailer and lifting equipment (incl. braking systems, suspensions, structural
components, electrical systems, hydraulics, auxiliary equipment and pneumatics).
· Carry out the services as per OEM requirements.
· To complete/oversee the repairs of any defects found.
· Complete complaint, cause and correction on job cards for sign off by supervisor/foreman.
