Etuan van der Westhuizen
Executive Chairman
After earning his B.Com in Financial Management in Pretoria, Etuan founded Hestony in 1987 with a single truck, operating as an owner-driver. Over the past 35 years, he has built extensive industry expertise and strong client relationships, guiding the company's growth and reputation. Etuan remains a hands-on leader, actively involved in operations and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Tarina Klokow
Director - Operations
Tarina completed her schooling in Hennenman and has built a successful career in the fuel and transport industry. With a strong background in administration, she developed in-depth expertise in operational systems, laying the foundation for her current role as Operations Director. Tarina is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service excellence across the business.
Danie Naude
Director - Human Resources
Danie joined Hestony Transport in 2021 with over 38 years of experience in Human Resources and Organisational Development. He matriculated in Bloemfontein and holds a degree in Human Resource Management from the University of the Free State. He is focused on building a positive workplace culture and aligning HR practices with company goals.
Theo Delport
Chief Executive Officer
Theo began his career in 1984, holding key leadership roles at Spekenham and County Fair, where he was appointed Managing Director in 2001. He later joined Astral, serving as MD of the Poultry Division and later as MD: Commercial, until his retirement in 2017. That same year, Theo brought his expertise to Hestony Transport, where he now serves as CEO, driving strategic direction and operational excellence.
Tarina completed her schooling in Hennenman and has been working in the fuel and transport industry ever since. Her start in administration has given her an overall understanding of systems, which provided a solid base for growing in operations.
Edelien Booysen
Director - Finance
Edelien completed her schooling in Upington before earning her Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) degree from the University of the Free State. She served her articles at Ernst & Young and went on to work for 15 years in the auditing sector, gaining extensive experience in financial management and compliance. In December 2018, Edelien joined Hestony, where she now leads the finance function, ensuring sound financial strategy and governance.
Jason Kopp
General Manager - Technical
Jason completed his schooling in Durban before earning a diploma in Business Management. He spent a decade in the forestry and sawmilling industry before transitioning to the transport and logistics sector in 2006. Over the years, Jason has gained extensive expertise in workshop operations, as well as technical and general management. In 2024, he joined Hestony, where he oversees all technical and operational management functions.
